Geometry and Art in the Modern Middle East

Presented in Jeddah from 24 January to 20 March 2023, Geometry and Art in the Modern Middle East explored the relationship between Islamic geometry and modern and contemporary artistic practice.

For Chameleon Tour, Geometry and Art in the Modern Middle East was an opportunity to take an exhibition designed to be experienced physically and make it accessible beyond the gallery walls. We photographed and digitally captured the space as an immersive 3D virtual tour, allowing visitors to move naturally through the exhibition, understand the relationship between the artworks and the space, and revisit the experience online from anywhere. The virtual format also creates a lasting digital record of an exhibition that was originally available for a limited period.
